Edward G Mungai is a Cyber Resilience and Security Expert as well as Business Continuity practitioner who has been professionally active for 15 years in East & Central Africa. Edward has been instrumental in the development of Cybersecurity Frameworks for a number of commercial and institutional enterprises not only raising their Risk & Security awareness but also improving their resilience in the face of both internal and external cyber shocks.  He is widely experienced in the management and delivery of Cyber Security Operations as well as Knowledge Transfer & Capacity Building in the Manufacturing / Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector, as well as in Humanitarian / Relief Organisations (United Nations) and in the ISP/Telecommunication sector.

Edward holds an MBA from the University of South Wales and a Batchelor’s Degree from the University of Sunderland.  He is both a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) as well as being Certified in Risk & Information Systems Controls (CRISC).  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds other accreditations such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, TQM – Total Quality Management and ITIL Continual Service Improvement.  If all this wasn’t enough, he is also the holder of a Six Sigma Black Belt.
